Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to drive supplier quality, establish quality plans, and lead improvement initiatives across the supplier base. The role involves audits, scorecards, and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing to ensure compliance and excellence.

Travel up to 50% initially, with 25%–50% thereafter. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in quality or supplier quality, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of quality, manufacturing, or supplier quality experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of quality, manufacturing, or supplier quality experience

Responsibilities

• Includes supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting assigned suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence.
• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a quality and/or castings to execute policy.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements and explain information to bring team members to consensus.
• Jobs at this level function with some autonomy but are covered by well-defined policies.
• Uses judgment to propose different solutions for day-to-day problems.
• Prioritizes information for data analysis using internal and limited external sources.
