Actalent is seeking a Sr/Lead Structural Engineer to lead the design and analysis of electrical utility substations. You will perform structural calculations, develop and review drawings, and coordinate with electrical and geotechnical teams while ensuring code compliance.

The role requires expertise in structural modeling tools, and the ability to supervise a remote team on substations projects across the United States.

Formación

• Experience designing high-voltage substations and associated structures.
• Proficiency with structural modeling and analysis software.
• Familiarity with AISC, ACI, ASCE 7, IBC and NESC codes.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural design for high-voltage substations, including greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Develop structural calculations for wind, seismic, ice and equipment loading conditions.
• Produce and review engineering calculations, drawings, specs, and construction documents.
