Lumen is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who will drive transformational change and operational excellence across Azure Public and Azure Government clouds. You will own platform engineering standards, design CI/CD and observability, and partner with development teams to deliver scalable, secure, highly available services.

This fully remote role within the United States requires 8+ years in DevOps/Platform roles, hands-on with AKS, Flux CD, Terraform, and strong automation skills.

Formación

• 8+ years in DevOps/Platform/SRE roles with leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in Azure Public/Gov cloud services.
• Hands-on with AKS, Helm 3, Flux CD (GitOps), Docker.
• Experience with Prometheus & Grafana for metrics and dashboards.
• Proficiency in Nginx and Kong for ingress/API gateway.
• CI/CD automation with Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Automation and debugging skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript; Bash/PowerShell.
• IaC using Terraform (or Bicep); policy-as-code and secure SDLC basics.
• Ability to obtain GSA Tier 2 Suitability Clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate AKS clusters with enterprise guardrails.
• Implement GitOps with Flux CD; manage Helm chart standards.
• Own container platform practices: Docker image standards and SBOM.
• Configure Nginx and Kong with routing, TLS, OAuth2, and WAF.
• Stand up Prometheus and Grafana for SLO/SLA visualization.
• Lead Jenkins pipelines and GitHub Actions workflows.
• Build IaC and policy pipelines with Terraform/Bicep; automated validations.
• Architect secure integration with Azure Key Vault and certificate management.
• Design Azure Networking, including VNets, NSGs, Private Link, hub-spoke models.
• Operate Azure services: Blob Storage, Redis, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, Service Bus.
