Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to drive growth in Health, State & Local Sector. You will spearhead design of mission-critical solutions, collaborating with BD and delivery teams to meet customer needs while ensuring cost-effective execution.

The role requires deep technical expertise, strong communication with executives, and advanced cyber certifications. It is remote with occasional travel to the DC/Metro area, and US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum 7 years with Ph.D.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• Advanced cyber certifications (e.g. CISSP, GSLC, or similar); U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of innovative and cost-effective mission-focused solutions across systems engineering, applications, cyber, cloud and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Business Development, delivery accounts and Corporate Offerings to align solution strategy with customer objectives.
• Own technical solution development, costing, and business-case alignment to government proposal requirements.
• Clearly articulate solution aspects during governance reviews with senior management and mitigate risks.
• Establish strong relationships with partners to drive high-quality solutions and compelling value propositions.
• Understand operational environments to position Peraton to deliver end-to-end mission value to sponsors.
• Interact with customers to gather insights and translate benefits to sponsor levels (strategic vs. tactical).
• Translate innovation and R&D into differentiated solutions leveraging company leadership and partnerships.
