Job summary

Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Cyber System Security Technical Lead to manage cybersecurity policies, risk assessments, and compliance across enterprise IT systems in a remote role with EST hours.

You will lead RMF, ATO efforts for applications, products, and cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure, Google) and guide cross-disciplinary teams supporting federal agencies in a high-stakes setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 8+ years of experience, or a high school diploma/equivalent with 12+ years of experience.
• 7+ years hands-on experience in Application Security.
• Relevant security certifications such as Security+, CASP, CCISO, CISM, CISSP, CAP, etc.
• AWS Security certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead ATO efforts for new applications, products, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google).
• Manage and verify cybersecurity policies, procedures, and risk mitigation for on-site and networked systems.
• Identify security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks; develop and oversee POA&Ms.
• Analyze systems for compliance with mandated security controls and document non-compliance issues.
