Job summary

Peraton Labs in Reston, Virginia seeks a mid‑level Solutions Architect to join federal civilian pursuits, supporting Senior and Principal Architects with architecture content, artifacts, and proposal development across pursuits of varying sizes.

You will develop architecture components across cloud, application modernization, cybersecurity, data/AI, IT operations, and DevSecOps, and support solutioning sessions with capture teams, partners, and SMEs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
5+ years in enterprise IT solution architecture or technical delivery preferred.
2+ years contributing to solution design on enterprise IT pursuits.
Hands-on experience in cloud, modernization, cybersecurity, data/AI-ML, IT ops, DevSecOps.
Translate customer requirements into technical solution components.
Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST and federal procurement processes.
Strong technical writing and ability to communicate to mixed audiences.
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

Contribute to solution architecture development on federal civilian pursuits.
Develop architecture components in cloud, modernization, cybersecurity, data/AI, IT ops, DevSecOps.
Support solutioning sessions with capture teams, partners, and SMEs.
Author technical proposal content under senior guidance.
Create architecture artifacts like system diagrams and data flows.
Research emerging technologies to inform solution decisions.
Engage with customers to understand mission requirements and tech environments.
Evaluate Peraton Labs capabilities and partner tech for solutions.
