Job summary

Peraton is seeking a mid-level Solutions Architect for federal civilian pursuits based in Reston, VA, with telework flexibility and travel to customer sites as needed. You will support Senior/Principal Architects, contributing to enterprise solution architectures and drafting technical artifacts.

You will develop architecture components across cloud, modernization, cybersecurity, data/AI, IT operations, and DevSecOps, while researching emerging technologies and coordinating with capture teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
• 5+ years in enterprise IT solution architecture, systems engineering, or technical delivery preferred
• 2+ years contributing to solution design on enterprise IT pursuits or programs
• Hands-on experience in cloud, modernization, cybersecurity, data/AI-ML, IT operations, DevSecOps, enterprise platforms
• Translate customer requirements into technical solution components
• Familiarity with Federal acquisition processes and compliance (FedRAMP, NIST)
• Strong technical writing and communication; articulate architecture decisions clearly
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

Responsibilities

• Contribute to solution architecture development on federal civilian pursuits across various sizes
• Develop architecture components in cloud, modernization, cybersecurity, data/AI, IT operations, DevSecOps, or managed services
• Support solutioning sessions with capture teams, partners, and SMEs; capture decisions and produce artifacts
• Author technical proposal content under supervision of senior solution leads
• Develop architecture artifacts including diagrams, data flows, and transition plans
• Research emerging technologies and vendor capabilities for solution decisions
• Participate in customer engagements to understand mission requirements and tech environments
• Evaluate Peraton Labs capabilities and partner technologies for solutions
