The role focuses on desktop Windows development, C++ (C14+), MFC UI work, and data serialization with XML/JSON, with a strong emphasis on long-term codebase health and scalable designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in desktop software development.
• Experience with MODFLOW, MT3D or related contamination transport modeling.
• Proficiency in modern C (C14 or later).
• Experience developing Windows applications with Visual Studio (2019 or later).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) for Windows UI development.
• Experience with object serialization and structured data formats (XML, JSON).
