Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to join our Corporate Credit Card delivery team. This remote role supports multiple U.S. markets and focuses on designing and delivering a new platform with automated testing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 6+ years' software development experience.
Alternate: High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience in software development.
Experience in large enterprise environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and lead technical solutions that meet user needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability.
Lead multiple tech leads who oversee SCRUM teams within the domain providing coaching and escalation paths.
Drive domain-wide changes to improve quality, speed, and throughput of the shop.
Oversee maintenance of IaaS/SaaS and on-prem applications to stay stable and scalable.
Coordinate debugging of code defects, data errors, and configuration issues.
Ensure secure, well-documented code and a strong developer experience.
Contribute to enterprise-level design and cross-team collaboration with product owners.
