Ascendion is a 100% remote role in the United States for a Lead Software Developer/Senior Developer. You will design, build, and scale backend services using C#/.NET, Java, and Node.js, with a focus on microservices and distributed systems.

You will work with Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure, and DevOps practices to deliver reliable, observable systems, emphasizing performance and scalability in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with C#/.NET and backend service development.
• Experience designing, building, and supporting microservices and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, Helm, and Terraform.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with telemetry, monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting production services.
• Experience working with multiple database and storage technologies.
• Strong understanding of system reliability, scalability, and performance optimization.
• C#/.NET and Java experience required.
