Job summary

New Relic, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Enterprise Systems Engineer to bridge business objectives, solution architecture, and hands-on execution in Salesforce/CPQ. The role involves coding ~70–80% of the time and serving as the primary technical contact for stakeholders.

You will lead architectural design, implement scalable Salesforce solutions, and mentor a team while aligning with business goals and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience in Salesforce/CPQ.
• Strong knowledge of APEX, LWC, and Salesforce configurations.
• Experience designing APIs and boundary systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps and Gearset.
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum practices and tools (Jira, GitHub/GitLab).

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design, development, and deployment of Salesforce/CPQ solutions.
• Translate requirements into technical roadmaps and specs.
• Establish engineering best practices and testing strategies.
• Write and review APEX code; ensure security and performance.
• Mentor engineers and drive agile ceremonies.
• Improve CI/CD, testing, and incident response.
• Collaborate with Technical Managers and Architects; communicate with stakeholders.
