Job summary

New Relic in San Francisco seeks a Lead Enterprise Systems Engineer to bridge business objectives, solution architecture, and hands-on delivery. The role blends coding (roughly 70–80%) with serving as the primary technical contact for stakeholders across the enterprise.

You will design and deploy resilient Salesforce/CPQ solutions, set engineering standards, mentor engineers, and drive agile practices while aligning with business goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience in Salesforce/CPQ.
• APEX Triggers & Classes, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Configurations & Workflow, Salesforce Security & Administration.
• API design and system design capabilities.
• Agile/Scrum experience with Jira/GitHub/GitLab.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design, development, and deployment of Salesforce/CPQ solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and system specs.
• Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and testing strategies.
• Write and review Apex code; balance delivery speed with long-term health.
• Mentor engineers and lead agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with Technical Managers and Enterprise Architects.
