Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Lead Project Engineering Manager for the Gas Power Americas team. Located in Schenectady, NY, the role oversees BOP engineering execution, drives global process standardization, and leads a cross-functional team to deliver complex customer projects.

You will interface with Proposal Management, Sourcing, and internal engineering teams, manage risk, and ensure alignment with contract requirements while traveling as needed in the US and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college; experience in engineering/project management preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
• Demonstrates creativity and problem-solving capability.
• Willingness/ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical scope, plan and monitor engineering activities for customer projects, interfacing with cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
• Develop expertise in discipline and contribute to strategy and policy development.
• Manage cross-functional engineering team to address contract risks and opportunities.
• Own engineering execution of BOP-scoped projects from contract signature to obligations.
• Support project management and internal GE teams with technical guidance.
