Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of health care and revenue cycle experience in a physician practice.
• Certified Professional Coder, CPC or CCSP.
• Experience with professional coding and coding guidelines.
• Experience with the electronic health record (EHR) and health care applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise professional fee coders and support staff; oversee coding, abstracting, and charge posting for physician services.
• Manage charge lag, monitor reports, and track work queue activity; ensure quality and productivity.
• Collaborate with clinics and providers to resolve coding issues and ensure compliance with payer guidelines.
