Job summary

Oscar Health, Inc. is hiring a Lead Physician for the Virtual Health Assessment team. This role leads a multidisciplinary group delivering care via telemedicine and reports to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment. Remote position with travel for meetings may be required.

The role requires Florida licensure with multi-state eligibility, board certification, and 5+ years of primary care experience. Competitive base pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of primary care experience (or urgent care).
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• ABMS board certification in specialty.
• Unrestricted medical license in eligible states.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemedicine care with multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise APPs delivering care in virtual environment.
• Serve as clinical escalation point for care delivery team.
• Contribute to clinical guidelines and care model improvements.
• Perform quality assurance audits and ensure patient safety.
