Job summary

Oscar Health, Inc. is seeking a Lead Physician to lead the Virtual Health Assessment team. This role oversees APP supervision, drives quality care in a virtual setting, and collaborates with Operations and Product to advance clinical initiatives.

The position is remote with a Monday–Friday schedule, some late shifts, and occasional travel for meetings and events. Strong Florida licensure and multi-state eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Full medical licensure in good standing in Florida and at least three of the listed states.
• MD/DO from an ACGME accredited medical school.
• ABMS Board Certification corresponding to completed residency program or additional training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct high quality care via telemedicine within a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care in a virtual environment.
• Serve as clinical lead for development of guidelines and care model improvements.
• Ensure patient safety and quality of care; conduct audits and compliance activities.
• Support expansion and growth of the VHA program and team development.

Education

MD or DO from an ACGME accredited medical school

Completion of medical residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine-Pediatrics

ABMS Board Certification corresponding to completed residency
