Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license.
• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree with 2+ years of pharmacy practice experience.
• Experience in customer service, call center and prior authorization required.
• Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote, high-volume call center environment.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented problem solver.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment and collaborate in a team.
• Dedicated workspace that is secure from noise during work hours (closed door) and a wired internet connection.
• Internet speed of one gigabit and wired connection required.
• MS Office knowledge.
• 2+ years of PBM experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of clinical pharmacists handling escalations, prior authorizations, and programs outreach.
• Set goals and regularly review performance of direct reports with coaching.
• Train and onboard clinical pharmacists, including developing policies and job aids.
• Analyze data with leadership to inform staffing, workflow and system enhancements.
• Identify and pursue staff career development opportunities.
• Perform day-to-day clinical functions including prior authorizations, appeals, and education calls.
• Meet or exceed performance metrics while delivering quality service.
• Support clinical programs with triage calls and outreach to prescribers, pharmacies, and members.
• Provide after-hours on-call support on rotating schedule.
• Collaborate with internal partners on clinical interventions and client onboarding.
• Assist Manager, Utilization Management with other duties as assigned.
