Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license.
• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree with 2+ years of pharmacy practice experience.
• Experience in customer service, call center and prior authorization required.
• Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote, high-volume call center.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented problem solver.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and collaborate in a team.
• Designated workspace that is secure and quiet during work hours with wired internet.
• One gigabit internet connection required.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• 2+ years PBM clinical pharmacist experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise group of clinical pharmacists handling phone escalations, prior authorizations, and outreach.
• Set goals and regularly review direct reports' performance.
• Train staff and onboard new pharmacists; develop policies and procedures.
• Analyze data with leadership to inform staffing and workflow improvements.
• Identify and pursue career development opportunities for staff.
• Perform day-to-day clinical pharmacy tasks including prior authorization and education.
• Meet or exceed performance metrics while ensuring high-quality service.
• Support clinical programs and triage calls to prescribers, pharmacies, and members.
• Provide after-hours on-call support on rotating schedule.
• Collaborate with internal partners on clinical interventions and onboarding new clients.
• Support Utilization Management with additional duties as assigned.
