Job summary

A federal contractor is seeking a Medical Records Technician - Team Lead to manage remote coding operations. The role involves overseeing coding accuracy, mentoring staff, and engaging in inpatient coding. Candidates must have a relevant certification and at least three years of coding experience. This position offers the opportunity for professional growth and a balanced work-life schedule, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CT.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, or CPC credential.
• Minimum of three years of inpatient coding experience.
• Experience in leadership roles within a coding environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coding accuracy and timeliness for the coding team.
• Assign cases and monitor productivity effectively.
• Mentor new coders and develop training materials.
