Equip Health is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant to oversee the Medical Assistant Team and ensure clinical service excellence while balancing direct patient care and leadership duties. You will coordinate care across a multidisciplinary team and play a key role in scheduling, training, and performance management.

The role is fully remote in the United States, with a compensation range of $56,000 to $70,000 base plus a 15% annual bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• CCMA certification or equivalent is required
• 4+ years in a Med Support role; mentoring/people management preferred
• Experience in behavioral/eating disorders preferred, minimum 1 year
• Virtual care experience is preferred
• Highly organized administrator with strong confidentiality
• Skilled at navigating electronic medical records
• Able to pivot to other tasks; adaptable and team oriented
• Enthusiastic, strong team player

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor the Medical Assistant team, set KPIs, provide feedback, conduct performance reviews and improvement plans
• Maintain a patient caseload and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team
• Manage MA schedules and coverage plans for absences
• Use data insights to guide leadership decisions
• Identify training needs and oversee trainings
• Coordinate with Senior Medical Service Manager for MA huddles and monthly meetings
• Provide administrative oversight and coverage for patients under supervision
• Review and approve time off requests and assist with MA onboarding
• Develop growth plans for supervisees and review expenses in Ramp
• Handle medical staff tasks and maintain patient records
• Monitor medical team chat channels and coordinate with providers when needed
• Follow up on requested testing and coordinate with outside providers
