Placements24 seeks a dedicated Remote Electrical Engineer focused on renewable energy solutions. You will design and integrate solar and wind systems from a home office, collaborating with teams worldwide to drive innovative green energy projects.

Responsibilities include system modeling, electrical schematics, and grid integration studies, while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety standards. This is a fully remote, globally scoped role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in design and engineering of renewable energy systems (solar/wind).
• Proficient in PV design and simulation tools (PVsyst, Homer).
• Strong understanding of power electronics, storage, and grid integration.
• Excellent communication for remote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize electrical systems for solar and wind installations.
• Perform system modeling, energy yield assessments, and grid studies.
• Develop electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring layouts.
• Specify electrical components such as inverters, batteries, switchgear, and cabling.
• Collaborate with international teams including PMs, site engineers, and procurement.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety for DERs.
