Job summary

Progressive Leasing is seeking a Lead Engineer - Full-Stack (Remote) to own the architecture and delivery of web and API layers. You will guide a distributed engineering team, drive technical strategy, and ensure alignment with product goals across Angular and backend services.

You will lead with an AI-first mindset, improve CI/CD, and foster collaboration with Product, Design, QA, and Backend teams while delivering high-scale, secure, accessible solutions for customers across the US.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in full-stack.
• Experience with AI-first engineering and integration of LLMs (Claude, Co-Pilot, etc.).
• Strong OO design principles and UI/API architecture.
• Proven ability to lead distributed teams across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, quality, and delivery of the Angular application and related APIs/services.
• Define coding standards and drive best practices across web and mobile development; promote AI-first mindset.
• Lead technical roadmap decisions aligned with product goals and timelines.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of features from scoping through release and monitoring.
• Mentor engineers across time zones and participate in hiring and team-building.
