Job summary

Cytokinetics, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Field Access Management to guide the National Field Access Manager and bridge market access strategy with field execution. The role focuses on removing reimbursement barriers, optimizing patient access, and supporting product launches and lifecycle management.

The ideal candidate has a deep payer policy background and strong leadership, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills to drive performance and inform business strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years in market access, field reimbursement, patient services, or related functions.
• 5+ years leading field-based access teams.
• Deep understanding of payer policy and reimbursement.
• Experience with HUB systems and data feeds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Field Access Managers with clear performance expectations.
• Develop and execute field access strategies to improve patient access and reduce barriers.
• Partner cross-functionally with Market Access, HUB vendors, Specialty Pharmacies, Sales, and Ops.
• Monitor access metrics: time to therapy, prior authorizations, conversions, and fulfillment.
• Analyze payer, HUB, and claims data to identify trends and inform strategies.
• Serve as field access SME, delivering strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
