Job summary

ERM CVS seeks a Lead ESG Certification & Verification Assessor to deliver accredited certification, verification, and assurance services across North America. This remote role offers significant client engagement and international exposure in Oil & Gas, Mining, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Technology, and Data Centers.

Travel is expected 50% to 75%, primarily within the United States, with occasional international assignments.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree or equivalent in HSE, quality, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience implementing, operating, assessing, or auditing management systems.
• Experience evaluating performance against EHS, quality, or management system objectives.
• Sector expertise in Oil & Gas, Mining, Data Centers, or Manufacturing.
• Two or more standards training: ISO 9001, 14001, 22301, 27001, 45001, 50001.
• Knowledge of ISO 17021 and/or 17029 requirements.
• Strong knowledge of US/Americas EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead certification, verification, and assurance assessments per ERM CVS procedures.
• Plan, conduct, and manage audits with site activities, interviews, evidence review, and reporting.
• Deliver clear, timely assessment reports and recommendations.
• Maintain technical expertise across standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Support continuous improvement of ERM CVS methodologies and processes.
• Share knowledge and technical expertise across the global ERM CVS team.
• Build trusted client relationships and represent ERM CVS professionally.
• Identify opportunities to support client needs and assist business development.
• Coach and support colleagues in audit delivery and interpretation.
• Contribute to ERM CVS reputation for technical excellence and integrity.
