Job summary

ERM Certification and Verification Services (CVS) seeks a Lead ESG Certification & Verification Assessor to deliver accredited certification, verification, and assurance services across North America. This remote, work-from-home role requires significant client engagement, international exposure, and travel within the United States (50–75%) with some international assignments.

As a Lead Assessor, you will deliver independent assurance across ESG, EHS, and sustainability systems, strengthen

Qualifications

Graduate degree in Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, or related field.
3–5 years of management systems auditing experience.
Experience evaluating EHS/quality performance against objectives.
Travel 50–75% within US with some international assignments.
Fluent in English; able to communicate across cultures.
Not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Lead accreditation, certification, assurance, validation, and verification assessments.
Plan, conduct, manage audits including interviews, evidence review, reporting, and conclusions.
Deliver clear, accurate assessment reports and recommendations.
Maintain technical expertise across applicable standards, regulations, and best practices.
Support continuous improvement of ERM CVS methodologies and processes.
Share knowledge and build client relationships across the global ERM CVS team.
Coach colleagues in audit delivery and technical interpretation; contribute to business development.
