Job summary

Accuity, a technology partner for hospitals and health systems, seeks a Lead Engineer to design and deliver epics across Amplifi and related platforms. Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, you will lead a pod, personally contributing a meaningful share of the work while guiding peers.

You will shape technical strategy, ensure security and quality, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Product to translate requirements into robust solutions in a remote, fully distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with end-to-end delivery.
• Experience directing engineering work on a pod or project.
• Background in cloud-native development, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong full-stack development, API design, testing, CI/CD, and monitoring.
• Experience in regulated environments, healthcare preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design and delivery of assigned epics and initiatives from requirements through production.
• Break initiatives into increments, sequence them realistically, surface dependencies and risks early.
• Direct the day-to-day technical work of engineers in the initiative pod without formal reporting authority.
• Personally build a meaningful share of the work while mentoring the pod.
• Ensure delivered work meets quality, security, performance, and documentation standards.
• Communicate progress, blockers, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to leadership.
