Job summary

Gravity IT Resources is seeking a Lead Software Developer (EPIC) with 10+ years of experience to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced healthcare software on EPIC platforms. You will steer cloud-native solutions, AI integrations, and governance across architecture, security, and scalability in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software development with healthcare IT and EPIC.
• Experience designing scalable cloud apps on Azure; AWS/GCP a plus.
• Hands-on with Epic data models (Clarity, Clinical Data Model, Cogito, Caboodle).
• Strong leadership and IaC expertise (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).

Responsibilities

• Follow the software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs.
• Prepare detailed technical design specifications based on requirements.
• Review designs and analysis documents for quality deliverables.
• Lead architecture discussions and oversee development tasks.
• Design scalable, secure cloud applications with APIs, microservices, and integration patterns in healthcare.
• Drive cloud initiatives using Azure, AWS, or GCP and IaC tooling.
• Lead CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab.
• Oversee Docker/Kubernetes deployments and data platforms like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Databricks.
• Implement observability, security, and resilience with Grafana, Log Analytics, OpenTelemetry.
• Incorporate Generative AI tools to enhance development and documentation.
• Maintain end-to-end ownership of product architecture and features.
