Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a reactor-physics expert to advance neutron transport methods, cross-section generation, and code development for LANCR and PANAC. The preferred work location is the GVH Nuclear headquarters in Wilmington, NC, with hybrid options and an Atlanta hub.

Requirements include Fortran and Python, a strong track record in nuclear methods, and the ability to work within NRC quality frameworks. You will lead development, validation, training, and customer interfacing, and contribute

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computational methods, nuclear engineering, or closely related field (or equivalent).
• Master’s degree with 3+ years experience, or PhD with 1+ year experience in nuclear methods development/neutron transport/lattice physics.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical development, validation, and maintenance of analytical methods for core/fuel performance.
• Prepare, document, and present technical data to internal/external customers.
• Provide training and customer support; drive process improvements and NRC compliance.
