Job summary

GE Vernova in the United States is seeking an Engineering Technical Leader to own and integrate cross-functional engineering efforts with long-term business impact. The role leads the Nuclear Advanced Reactor team, develops design and analysis processes, and mentors staff to deliver high-quality solutions on time for DOE, NASA, and DOD projects.

You will drive growth initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, and shape technical strategy while managing complex programs and ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical, electrical, systems, or nuclear engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a business and/or technical environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global, cross-business team responsible for GEH - Nuclear Advanced Reactor Nuclear Systems Engineering.
• Provide leadership, resources and training to ensure high quality deliverables per customer requirements and procedures.
• Deliver cohesive, high quality technical solutions to DOE, NASA, and DOD customers for new plant businesses on time.
• Develop, maintain, apply and improve design and analysis processes and procedures.
• Support growth initiatives and develop innovative technical solutions for new plants with industry collaboration.
• Develop technical talent and depth by coaching and mentoring; foster a learning environment.
