ORBITAL Engineering Inc. is seeking a Lead Distribution Engineer for a REMOTE WORK role or HYBRID role to support our Hammond, Indiana office.

The successful candidate will lead design teams and provide technical guidance on overhead and underground distribution projects, while ensuring safety and compliance. Candidates with a PE license are strongly preferred; experience with pole attachments, DSIC, and NESC standards is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Electrical preferred.
• 5+ years in distribution design or project management.
• PE license preferred; EIT/FE encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams on overhead and underground distribution projects.
• Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to staff; manage workloads and performance.
• Ensure QA/QC and safety compliance; support client relations and business development.
