Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned attorney to lead a full-state creditors' rights practice in a fully remote role. You will own the book of business, drive staffing decisions, and shape strategy across institutional clients including banks and servicers.

You should have substantial experience in creditors' rights, commercial collections, foreclosure, or related bankruptcy work, with the ability to supervise a team and deliver strong advocacy in courts across multiple states. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Active law license in good standing in the relevant state, with eligibility for admission in additional states within the firm's footprint as needed.
• Substantial experience in creditors' rights, commercial collections, foreclosure, or related bankruptcy and insolvency work, ideally gained at a firm serving institutional or financial services clients across multiple states.
• Demonstrated experience directing litigation strategy on behalf of institutional clients, including banks, servicers, or other regulated lenders.
• Prior experience supervising a team of attorneys and support staff, with the ability to manage caseloads, delegate effectively, and maintain service standards across a full state practice.
• Existing book of business or strong referral relationships in the creditors' rights space strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, with comfort appearing before courts at all levels within the relevant jurisdiction.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership of practice performance, staffing decisions, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the state's creditors' rights practice with P&L visibility.
• Direct litigation strategy for institutional clients, including banks and servicers.
• Supervise a team of attorneys and support staff, manage caseloads and ensure service standards.
• Develop and maintain book of business and referral relationships across the creditors' rights space.
