Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active license to practice in the state.
• Minimum 3 years of attorney experience focusing on creditor rights, including foreclosure and bankruptcy.
• Experience with replevin, financial institutions, and mortgage industry regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, research and writing skills; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Represent the organization in creditor rights matters and mortgage-related litigation.
• Provide legal advice on foreclosure, bankruptcy, and replevin; draft and review legal documents.
• Develop strategies to protect legal and financial interests; coordinate with other attorneys.
• Stay updated on mortgage laws and regulatory changes; mentor junior staff.
