Job summary

RecruitPod Global LLC seeks an experienced Bankruptcy Associate Attorney to represent creditors in consumer and commercial bankruptcy matters, supporting a growing creditors' rights practice. The role covers portfolio management, pleadings, hearings, and staff guidance across multiple chapters.

Ideal candidate has a JD, active state bar, 5+ years of creditor bankruptcy experience, and strong research, drafting, and negotiation skills. Remote work options available within the US.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active bar license in good standing in at least one qualifying state listed.
• Minimum of 5 years licensed to practice law in a qualifying state.
• Experience representing creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.
• Admission to applicable U.S. Bankruptcy Court or ability to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code, FRBP, local rules, and creditor remedies.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of creditor bankruptcy matters from referral through resolution (Chapter 7-13).
• Draft and file motions for relief from stay and objections to claims and plans.
• Represent creditors in contested matters and adversary proceedings.
• Attend hearings and coordinate with local appearance counsel as needed.
• Review pleadings, documents, and records to protect creditor interests.
• Provide guidance to staff on procedural requirements and case strategy.
