Job summary

Launch Potato is seeking a Lead BI Developer to own the reporting infrastructure powering decision-making across its credit cards, money management, banking, and marketplace verticals. You’ll partner with Yield, Paid Media, and Account Management to uncover trends, conduct retrospective analyses, and ensure your work is used and understood.

This is a hands-on role that emphasizes impact over dashboards alone.

Qualifications

• Expert SQL and comfortable with unstructured, complex data.
• Reporting ownership and data literacy to drive adoption across teams.
• Performance marketing optimization by linking data to campaign performance, CPC/CPA, and revenue.
• Advanced LookML development or equivalent in BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Curiosity with business depth to become trusted analytics partner beyond building dashboards.
• 7+ years in BI/analytics with end-to-end reporting and collaboration with business teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the reporting infrastructure powering decision-making across Credit Cards, Make Money/Manage Money, Banking, and Marketplace verticals.
• Embed with business units from day one to uncover meaningful trends and conduct retrospective analyses.
• Aim for dashboards used and acted upon, not just produced.
• Bridge data complexity with stakeholders to standardize reporting across verticals.
• Establish strong relationships with Yield, Paid Media, and Account Management.
