Job summary

JD Power is seeking a Lead Benefits Analyst to lead U.S. health and welfare benefits, leave programs, and related Workday configurations.

The role supports Canada and global programs while partnering with Payroll, HRIS, and vendors to ensure compliant, high-quality employee experiences. The candidate will oversee benefit open enrollment, leave administration, reporting, and process improvements within the Total Rewards team, reporting to the Director of Total Rewards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5-7+ years in benefits and leave administration.
Deep knowledge of U.S. health and welfare benefits & leave administration.
Hands-on experience with state & federal leave regulations.
Hands-on experience administering benefits in Workday.
Experience managing relationships with carriers, brokers & TPAs.
Strong compliance understanding and analytical skills.
Strong Excel and reporting capabilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication; customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day administration of U.S. health and welfare benefits and open enrollment activities.
Coordinate leaves of absence with internal teams and third-party administrator.
Configure and maintain Workday Benefits and Absence Management processes and reports.
Manage vendor relationships and support renewals and program enhancements.
Develop communications, education resources, and trainings for benefits and leaves.
Ensure compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA, and state regulations.
