Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to lead a team of domain experts in designing and implementing AI Agent Control. The role focuses on agent authentication, state management, policy definitions, multiagent APIs and anomaly detection.

You will drive scalable AI solutions in a fast-paced environment. The position requires 10+ years in software engineering and AI, with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with multi-agent system administration and secrets management.
• Familiarity with AI-native software development tools and code assistants.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, TypeScript) and software languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understanding of AI-native design processes and identity/auth concepts.
• Experience with modern IDEs, CI/CD pipelines, and code collaboration (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE, AWS and Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design control harness intelligence systems for multiagent setups and tooling.
• Architect agent identity and authentication for large-scale enterprise systems.
• Oversee post-training and tuning/customization environments.
• Develop synthesis models for AI open-source models.
• Implement and benchmark architectures against defined evals.
• Lead design of comprehensive AI Agent control frameworks.
• Drive AI-native design processes across teams.
• Research emerging agent authorization architectures and frontier proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infra experts for balanced outcomes.
• Support business development and IP initiatives.
• Hands-on development of advanced agentic capabilities.
• Lead a team building universal agentic control harnesses.
