Job summary

24-MAG LLC is seeking current law students or recent JD graduates for a remote consulting role focused on Bluebook citation standards, law review editing, and AI training. You will review citations, develop cite-checking exercises, provide model answers, and deliver detailed feedback while working independently to meet deadlines.

The engagement is freelance/remote, with compensation of $50–$80 per hour and 25 openings. Prior AI experience is not required, and confidentiality must be maintained.

Qualifications

Must be a current law student (2L/3L) or recent JD graduate.
Strong knowledge of The Bluebook and its application to legal research and editorial review.
Hands-on experience with law review, law journal editing, or comparable academic legal publication activities.

Responsibilities

Review and analyse legal citations for accuracy and Bluebook compliance.
Evaluate pincites, short forms, signals, parentheticals, and source references.
Identify citation formatting errors and inconsistencies in legal research materials.
Assess whether cited authorities support the propositions they accompany.
Provide editorial notes and explanations to correct citations.
