Job summary

Remotebridge is seeking a Law Review Cite-Checker to support a legal citation project on a remote, contract basis. Ideal candidates are current law students or recent JD graduates with Bluebook fluency and journal editing experience.

You will review rubrics, build sample cite-check tasks, and apply Bluebook rules to ensure consistency and accuracy across submissions. Prior AI experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Must be a current law student (2L/3L) or a recent JD graduate.
• Experience with law journals or law reviews and cite-checking is highly preferred.
• Strong command of The Bluebook and pincite rules; capable of explaining corrections.

Responsibilities

• Review existing Bluebook and pincite rubrics and flag unclear or inconsistent rules.
• Identify edge cases not covered by rubrics and suggest handling methods.
• Create sample cite-checking tasks with sources, citations containing errors, and explanations.
• Develop tasks across citation types and difficulty, from formatting to pincite issues.
• Apply Bluebook rules consistently across submissions and flag ambiguous cases for coordinators.
