Job summary

Skydio is seeking a Readiness Specialist to manage a dock account book, guiding opportunities from contract to launch while coordinating with a broad team. The role emphasizes building relationships, scheduling cadences, and ensuring readiness gates are met for successful deployments.

The position requires 3+ years in a customer-facing PM/implementation capacity, with travel 50–60%. FAA Part 107 certification or ability to obtain in 60 days is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing project management, implementation, deployment, or operations role.
• Experience managing a portfolio of concurrent projects with timelines and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Drone as First Responder concepts and dock-based remote operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of dock accounts within your region and run weekly cadences, readiness records, and risk tracking.
• Lead site surveys and planning, including power, mounting, RF/LTE, and network readiness with IT staff.
• Coordinate non-technical paths to launch such as waivers, approvals, and policy/data retention considerations.
