Wagmo, a New York-based pet healthcare company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to advance our AI-driven claims system. This remote role is Latin America-based with at least 6 hours overlap with US Eastern Time.

You’ll own key parts of the claims automation pipeline from design to production. We value strong Python and Django skills, plus TypeScript, and experience shipping production AI features that real users depend on.

Responsabilités

• Learn and own the claims automation pipeline, shipping changes within months.
• Lower the cost of processing claims by routing work to the right models without sacrificing accuracy.
• Restructure the pipeline to allow independent changes with gating on evaluations.
• Ship automation to resolve more claims with minimal manual review, in collaboration with Product.
• Use AI to read veterinary records and improve coverage decisions.
