Job summary

INSHUR is seeking a Pricing Analyst Contractor for a ~3 month contract (part-time ~20 hours/week) to own bespoke risk assessment and pricing for our largest US commercial auto accounts, working with underwriting to price complex risks as we expand.

You will analyze imperfect data, update pricing tools, and collaborate with pricing and underwriting teams. Remote candidates in the US or UK are welcome, and flexibility is offered to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience pricing bespoke risks for large commercial accounts.
• Ability to work independently with imperfect data and clean it for analysis.
• Proven collaboration with underwriters to translate risk into numbers.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for pricing templates.

Responsibilities

• Drive large account pricing by delivering bespoke experience rating and pricing for high-value commercial auto submissions (typically $500k+ in premium).
• Collaborate with underwriters to evaluate risk characteristics and reflect them in final price.
• Upgrade pricing tools by owning and improving the large account pricing template.
• Analyze loss trends using internal data and benchmarks to inform strategic direction.
• Navigate complex data by cleaning and turning imperfect data into actionable pricing models.
