Job summary

Halo Land Management is seeking a Land Technician to support land teams by keeping lease, title, ownership, and tract records accurate, organized, and current. You will review source documents, maintain trackers, and help prepare information for internal teams and client deliverables.

You will partner with Landmen, Abstractors, GIS, Legal, and project leads, managing multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and visibility.

Qualifications

1+ years of relevant experience in land, title, legal support, lease administration, records.
Working knowledge of leases, deeds, abstracts, title materials, ownership records.
Comfortable using Excel to organize large spreadsheets or datasets.

Responsibilities

Enter and maintain lease, ownership, tract, and related project data in spreadsheets and land databases.
Review lease terms, deeds, abstracts, title materials for accuracy and consistency.
Track important dates including lease expirations and extensions.
Organize lease files and supporting documentation in shared digital systems.
Identify missing or inconsistent information and communicate issues early to resolve them.
Support reporting, curative work, file preparation, and client-ready deliverables.
Maintain clear digital folder structures and documentation standards across projects.
Provide timely updates when priorities or deadlines could affect progress.
