Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Specialist to act as a trusted advisor across complex workplace matters, leading investigations end-to-end with sound judgment and legal fluency.

You will partner with Legal, HRBPs, and senior leadership to ensure defensible outcomes, global policy alignment, and proactive risk mitigation while enabling HRBPs to focus on talent decisions and organizational health.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in employee relations or HR compliance.
• Proven ability to lead investigations independently from intake to resolution.
• Working knowledge of multi-state employment law and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to handle high-risk cases with discretion and sound judgment.
• Strong written communication to produce defensible documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end investigations into complex employee relations matters.
• Conduct structured interviews, assess credibility, and synthesize evidence.
• Partner with Legal to manage risk, escalation, and compliance.
• Ensure global policy application considering regional differences.
• Advise on high-risk performance cases and PIPs.
• Drive consistency in disciplinary actions and fair processes.
• Coach managers on feedback delivery and documentation.
• Provide real-time case consultation for sensitive situations.
• Analyze ER case data to identify patterns and drive improvements.
• Own ER governance, escalation pathways, and decision frameworks.
