Job summary

L&E Special Counsel is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Counsel for a 100% remote role across the United States. You will guide employers through administrative proceedings and disputes, handling agency matters with a focus on counseling instead of litigation.

The ideal candidate has at least six years of labor and employment experience, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• JD and bar license in the state of residence.
• At least six years of labor and employment law experience.
• Experience handling administrative agency matters and disputes.
• Excellent legal writing, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide employers through agency charges and disputes from intake to resolution.
• Conduct investigations and prepare strategic responses.
• Draft persuasive position statements and submissions.
• Respond to requests from administrative agencies.
• Serve as primary client contact throughout a matter's lifecycle.
• Participate in virtual mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Leverage proprietary systems to deliver efficient client service.
• Collaborate with experienced L&E attorneys across jurisdictions.
