Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Remote Labor & Employment Counsel or Partner in California with strong wage-and-hour experience. The position offers a fully remote setup nationwide, with a base salary range of $200k to $360k plus bonuses.

The attorney will handle advisory and litigation work in California, defend EEO and discrimination claims, and support the firm’s nationwide litigation practice. Bar admission in CA is required, with a potential DC waiver.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of labor and employment litigation experience in California.
• CA wage-and-hour experience required.
• Ability to handle advisory and litigation work.

Responsibilities

• Advise management on California employment law, wage-and-hour, PAGA.
• Serve as first- or second-chair in CA court litigation; travel as needed.
• Defend EEO, discrimination and retaliation claims in various settings.
• Support nationwide commercial litigation practice.
• Share travel with DC-based partners as needed.
