Job summary

Stealth Law Firm, a California-based management-side labor and employment law firm, seeks a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to defend employers and advise on wage-hour, leave laws, and HR policies. Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 1+ years of employment litigation experience (defense-side preferred; plaintiff-side transitioning will be considered)
• Familiarity with wage & hour, PAGA, or class action matters is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Defend employers in single and/or multi-plaintiff employment litigation, with growing exposure to PAGA and class action matters
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings (e.g., CRD, EEOC, DLSE, FEHA, ERISA)
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Advise clients on day-to-day employment law issues, including wage & hour, leave laws, discipline, and workplace policies
• Draft and revise employee handbooks, policies, and employment agreements
• Assist with mediations, depositions, and trial preparation alongside senior attorneys

Key Responsibilities:

• Defend employers in single and/or multi-plaintiff employment litigation, with growing exposure to PAGA and class action matters

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 – $350,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
