Job summary

Empact Technologies is seeking a Compliance Services Associate to join our fast-growing Compliance Management team in a startup setting. You will work with clients and project partners to ensure IRA ITC/PTC compliance, primarily in a remote-capable, collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, vigilance in monitoring compliance, and delivering guidance to EPCs, contractors, and suppliers in a dynamic energy infrastructure context.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance management, project management, or similar in construction.
• Solid understanding of Davis-Bacon prevailing wage compliance and related regulations.
• Experience with federal Davis-Bacon compliance monitoring and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including video meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead relationships between Empact, developers, and project participants (EPCs, contractors, suppliers).
• Confirm payroll and apprenticeship capabilities with EPCs, contractors, and subcontractors; provide guidance on data and compliance needs.
• Use Empact cloud software to capture pre-construction data for prevailing wage and apprenticeship compliance.
• Manage weekly payroll data collection and evaluate projects for wage and apprenticeship compliance; coordinate issue resolution with contractors.
• Monitor project activities to identify compliance risks and suggest mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with suppliers to capture cost data and calculate domestic content percentages.
• Pre-qualify projects and collect data for tax incentive adders (Energy Community, Low-Income Community).
• Provide guidance and training to project staff on compliance-related matters.
