Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a project manager to support external customer implementations of laboratory diagnostic products. You will develop, document, and facilitate professional project plans through from contract to implementation, including installations, upgrades, and analyzer conversions.

The role requires guiding customers along a predefined project management journey, frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams, and travel up to 30% across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years of project management experience required.
• Experience supporting customer installations of laboratory diagnostics equipment required.
• Ability to travel ~30% including overnight travel across the US and reside within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport in the US preferred.
• CAPM or PMP qualification preferred.
• Healthcare or lab/diagnostics experience required.
• Experience partnering directly with external facing customers required.
• Strong leadership, communication, influence and negotiation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and leads development of the project schedule and assists in budget/forecasting.
• Ensures PM approaches and tools support process development and align with business practices.
• Assist Project Leads to ensure projects meet policies, objectives, and timelines.
• Set up and maintain tools to track schedules, budgets, and risk reporting; assist in reporting systems.
• Identify and help resolve project conflicts; manage projects in best interest of team, stakeholders and customers.
• Track and report project success measures; monitor timeline and budget variances and propose contingencies.
• Troubleshoot, negotiate, and facilitate communication among all project parties; provide status updates.
• Present updates to leadership; drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
