Job summary

CRH is seeking a Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist - Remote (Construction) to partner with HR and business leaders across the Americas, implementing learning solutions and supporting LMS activities. The role includes coordinating training programs, communications, and the design and development of training materials.

The position is remote within the continental United States with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in HR, Learning & Development, Training, or EH&S.
• Proficient in English written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Forms, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Exposure to SuccessFactors or a LMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training programs, in-person and virtual; manage logistics and materials.
• Send communications including invites, prework, reminders, and surveys.
• Disseminate knowledge, tools and resources for improving the organization and its people.
• Interact with stakeholders and provide regular communications and updates; written and presentations.
• Collaborate with the L&D Network and HR across CRH to implement programs.
• Create forms and data collection methods for registrations, evaluations, and certificates.
• Support design and development of training programs using instructional design methods.
• Provide solutions giving employees access to programs and learning tools.
• Use LMS to enter data, manage activities, and pull training reports (Excel-based).
• Assist with maintaining employee-facing HR/L&D systems; travel up to 10%.
