Job summary

WaveCrest Staffing Group is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to support manager effectiveness and leadership development for a global organization. This role leads instructional design, facilitation, and deployment of learning experiences that help managers build high-performing teams.

The position is remote with South Carolina as the location focus, offering a 9-month contract and a schedule Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience designing live and asynchronous learning experiences.
• Experience with project or program management across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience facilitating and coaching managers and leaders.
• Background in manager effectiveness or leadership development.
• Experience supporting global learning initiatives.
• Knowledge of AI literacy or AI-enabled learning.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate needs into observable behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Partner with L&D, HRBPs, and leaders to identify needs and manage learning projects.
• Design and deploy learning through live virtual, on-demand, micro-learning formats.
• Develop Manager Essentials resources around 1:1s, goal setting, feedback, performance management, coaching, and change management.
• Build leadership development experiences focused on high-performing teams and talent development.
• Facilitate virtual workshops, leadership labs, and train-the-trainer sessions.
• Create reusable learning assets including facilitator guides, checklists, and LMS-ready resources.
• Curate external resources while developing internal tools.
• Support AI literacy and AI productivity enablement for managers and leaders.
• Track milestones, adoption, risks, and deliverables with updates.
